About Michelle: Michelle L. Sanfilippo, MPAS, PA-C is a certified physician assistant practicing in neurology for the last 9 with Dr. Concetta M. Forchetti at the Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute.  She graduated with a bachelors of medical science from Midwestern University PA Program in Downers Grove in 1999.  She received a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies with honors, with an emphasis on cognitive rehabilitation from University of Nebraska in 2004.  Prior to attending PA school, Michelle worked as a caregiver in a dementia specific living facility.  After graduating from PA school and becoming certified, Michelle worked briefly in family practice and internal medicine. Michelle left medicine to direct special care units for patients with severe dementia, prior to joining Dr. Forchetti in 2004.  Together, Dr. Forchetti and Michelle diagnose and manage patients with cognitive impairments and dementia.
